Inspired by one of the oldest known lichens Songiophyton nanum which was believed to exist about 400 million years ago in Brasil.  I also think this pin looks like a sea creature.  The pin is fabricated from red jewelers brass and silver with a colorful patina. The patina has been coated with wax to help preserve the colors.  Pin measures 2” x 2”.
